WHEELCHAIR REGATTA

Calling all you sailing enthusiasts!!!

On June 10, 2018, Silver Gate Yacht Club will host their annual Wheelchair Regatta. More than 300 physically and developmentally disabled San Diegans, together with their families, will be welcomed aboard boats for a cruise on San Diego bay during the 58th annual Wheelchair Regatta. Hosted by Silver Gate Yacht Club, the event provides guests with an opportunity to get out on the water for a day-long sail. Guests will be wheeled to docks by more than 150 volunteers, which include military personnel, where they will be hoisted onto boats participating in the annual regatta. The Wheelchair Regatta includes a tour of the bay from 8 A.M. to noon, followed by lunch and entertainment from noon to 2 P.M. at Silver Gate Yacht Club. The club is

located at 2901 Shelter Island Drive.
